Commercial & Office Build-Outs
It is not just houses. We have renovated restaurants, medical offices, studios, and retail space across Chicago — including a restaurant in Logan Square and exam rooms for a North Side medical practice.
Commercial work runs on different constraints: you are losing revenue every day you are closed, and the inspection path is its own thing. We schedule around your hours where we can, work nights and weekends where we have to, and coordinate every trade so you open on time.
Our Story
Like a lot of millennials, we found our own 1890s Chicago house when the market offered two choices: an overpriced flip, or a fixer-upper with real character. Restoring it taught us exactly the kind of contractor we wanted to become.

Do you do commercial work?
Yes. Alongside home remodeling we do commercial and office build-outs - restaurants, medical and dental offices, studios, and retail. We can work around your operating hours so you stay open, or run straight through to hit an opening date.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Rogers Park and work across Chicago's North and Northwest Side and the northern suburbs — including Edgewater, Andersonville, West Ridge, Lincoln Square, Evanston, Skokie, and Wilmette.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Paro Projects is a licensed and insured general contractor. We pull permits and coordinate every trade on your project.
Do you take on small projects?
Yes. We are happy to talk about a single built-in, a repair, or one room. No project is too small to ask about.
Do you work on old houses?
It is most of what we do. We restored our own 1890s Chicago house, and we specialize in renovating century-old homes without stripping out their character.
